Oh boy! I got something to say on this. First, I play arcade like every weekday night and have for about 2 months, so I'm talking from experience. The 153 is not a warp speed fighter. It can't catch anything other than a bomber and it can keep up with the I-16. I walk away from it all the time. That's its weakness. The reason why its deadly good in dogfights is because ALL the dogfights involving 5 or more degenerate into a huge furball that gets lower and lower until it is on the deck. Twisting, turning, slow speed mess. The 153s bread and butter. For some Russisn reason, it has one hell of a set of 1930s guns on it! Unbelievable. Running and gunning is possible in this game but you will won't win doing it. In twenty minutes, I've found 15+ kills to be routine (not for me, unfortunately). Every time I try to use the 153 to get the unlocks, someone msgs me telling me to ditch the cheap kill master. I know of two guys, if they are the host, who won't start a game with it in there. Spitfires, Hurricaines, 109s rule in Arcade. With the nature of the game being the way it is, turn and burn is all we are going to get, unless you don't mind losing. I challenge myself in other ways. I always want to be the least killed and I strive for the best killer/killed ratio. That won't unlock weapons, but it is fun to use other planes and burn these guys when they don't see it coming. Here's hoping the 190 and p51 only have enough fuel for a 30 minute fight and not a 12 hr flight! Long live the I-153!!!!!!!!! Just deal with it.
