Maybe the said 'ace' didn't use enough of the grey mush between the ears.

In combat with a better turning aircraft, if your aircraft has a better roll rate - this would be your primary offensive 'tool' .... otherwise you run.

It looks like the ace didn't use this..

Cannot remember exactly - This in on a HSFX cross channel map server. Most people were flying med-high. I decided to skulk down low flying between the hills close to the targets.. waiting for a victim.
This is the 2nd time (in 15 minutes) I downed this fella.. so he knew I was around here when he came in again - he went for some R&R after this shot.

Again keeping low and fast.. looking for a victim or DF to join.
Tactic works pretty well if you are patient and use the noggin.
