Note I did not say it was not unstable.. My point was if it was as 'unstable' as some would have us belive than those Spits would have been falling out of skys as soon as the pilot moved the stick

Theres a reason for instrumenting a plane for test..
That being a pilots's 'perception' of what is going on can be very different from what is 'actually' going on.
