Lets not rehash all the same old arguments please.

Have they shown any WiP shots of infantry yet? That was Stalingrad really.

Edit... on second thoughts...

Bullshit.

You can argue all you like, but you're grabbing a shot from an unknown build (that is not anywhere near final) from a 720p (low res) compressed source and trying to compare, it doesn't matter one jot how you grabbed it, it matters how it was shot initially, pull the other one, it's got bells on. And you call me dishonest? Keywords: pot, kettle and black.

My rig, is absolutely capable of running CloD with all settings at maximum thanks.

dont let the the use of the name "IL-2 Sturmovik" in RoF's BS confuse you, they dont have any of the IL-2 Sturmovik series source code for FM, DM etc.., and neither do they have a next gen game or gfx engine that can bring you something similar to what CoD already is. RoF is simply continuing with its same old game engine and adding some new ww2 objects.

so no, team fusion aint going nowhere, did you think the name of the new RoF game would confuse them ? when IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of prey was released it attracted a whole new crowd, basically a cluster halfway between console users and new people interested in an easy pc flightsim. the same happened with war thunder and similar projects. RoF's BS project will similarly attract its own crowd, mostly made up of old RoF fans who arnt quite interested in the higher tech sims like DCS or CoD, combined with other pc users that want an uncomplicated game without a steep learning curve. over the next few years as CoD continues to expand and evolve the only likely transition i see for its current fanbase if there truly is to be an EOL, it is to the DCS ww2 theater that by then will have become a reality. the bulk of the old IL-2 Sturmovik-CoD fan base will want to move on to something better, not take several steps backwards just for the sake of somebody using part of the old brand name.

lol, you really think everybody that was a long term user/supporter of oleg's IL-2 Sturmovik series will now suddenly abandon what they like and already have that is much better just to go and play something newer just for the sake of it ?

pull the other one ? a leak ? its a deliberate release to try and vamp up some interrest, but all it does is confirm the initial information we already had, RoF's BS is not designed or intended to be "better" then CoD and surpass it, its an entirely different project created for entirely different reasons. and thats fine by me, just dont keep bringing up the comparison with CoD as if it is something newer/better

keeping what alive ? it has nothing to do with the old IL-2 Sturmovik series, just let them try and stand on their own 2 feet and stop pretending it is an evolution of the il2-CoD (SoW) series. complaining when some of its flaws are pointed out doesnt help you either, the issues i pointed out are pretty glaring. and you'r asking the wrong question, the real question is "why all the hate for CoD", your the one posting here and inviting thereby comparisons with CoD

Bitter much? Where has any of the devs ever said it was going to equal or surpass CLoD?

As for comparisons, if you don't like them don't post them.
