I bet they will have a "full real" servers available for people like us who like no icons, locked cockpit, full CEM and flight model.

Sure the CEM, damage model, flight model won't be as detailed or in depth as CloD, but my guess is it will fly and handle similar to IL2 46 which I'm fine with.

I will definately give it a try.

Ive downloaded the DX9 benchmark test and signed up for the beta.
It looks pretty nice for a DX9 Alpha!
Probably will be slightly more complex than WoP on full switch, so it will likely play like a slightly dumbed down IL2'46 with more planes and hugely improved graphics.

Im fine with that and the smaller maps, I dont have the time I used to, so going in for a quick mission or "gang bang" with some nice eye candy isn't such a bad thing!

The overall game play is what will make the game or not!

I get 34FPS avg with my temporary 8800Ultra with everything on maximum at 1920x1080 and 36FPS with very high. Just shows what a beast of a card the ol' 8800 Ultra was!
