AoA, you miss my point. Read the rest of my post again (the part about using the same map to create an expansion by having a planeset from 1941 etc).

I know they won't remove the map (how could they if CoD and the BfM expansion are going to merged?)

So there is no post/quote by Luither stating the channel map will not be included in the sequal? Wheeeuuu that is good news! Sorry if I missunderstood your post! S!

No worries AoA...... I just re-read my earlier post and I can see how it could have been a bit ambiguous.

What I was trying to say was that 1C could have made a whole new expansion whilst using the same map (whereas the Russian expansion means they had to take the time to make not only a new planeset, but a new map as well). The idea being that this could have left them able to release a new add on (and so get a cash injection) quicker.

A Med/North Africa Theater of war would be really awesome...if things work out the way they should..I'd buy one if it were made...and Russia too.

I would like to see the problems that are still obvious with this sim fixed before any further additions. Lets hope that the team will get their priorities right and get the damage that is developing under control before the whole C.O.D series crashes and burns. There won't be too many loyal IL2 series fans that will be prepared to fork out for any additions unless they can be sure it will work as promised, that includes performance on advertised min spec systems, what a joke. If there is an add on Moscow is my choice.

BTW I've gone back to 46, at least that works thanks to the mods.

Wellington and Beaufighter

Also, fix as much as can be fixed in the current sim before even thinking about adding more content, aircraft or theatre wise ... please.

Makes more sense then about anything I've read today. However, you are running the risk of being banned here for conduct which may be termed a rant...I have been told my less than enthusiastic support of the game in its current state is not acceptable. Either that, or my spelling needs to improve. If I don't improve my spelling soon, I'll probably get sent home from school with a note to my parents. I still wont go out and buy anything else in the IL2 series until they clean up this mess.
I probably will go back to IL2 FB...that legacy game played/plays well. Oh the times they have a changed.

One thing that the 'Team" seems to have right is the aircraft involved for this period. See this site: -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraf...itish_fighters

I think Ingsoc84 that what appears to be rants are frustrations by many who hear very little from the team. It would be nice to hear news once a week even if it is bad but they are working to correct it.
