One of The Few and a true hero of Britain and the Free World. Amazing how the fatigue and strain have aged this 22-year-old Squadron Leader's face. Very humbling to think of his achievements and responsibilities at such a young age, and what a contrast to the rioting young thugs of late!

I have his book "Spitfire!" on order and very much look forward to reading it.
