Quoted for truth. However, I expected the same once IL-2 was modded, but I see no more text buffer calls of Cheat! than I ever did.

This is NOT a Merlin sound.
Listen to Jivas sound mods in IL2 for the real sound.
I don't know if you're part of the team but if you are I now know why it doesn't have good sound. If you're not part of the team and hoping they will adopt your sounds . . . . . save your breath and call Jiva.

Um, maybe I'm wrong but what good are some really excellent looped sounds going to be in CoD when they are supposed to be dynamic and multi-layered to indicate engine conditions?

Sounds more like one step forward and 3 steps back to me.
