Stuttering has been reduced for me over land and in london, but still getting them the freezing but not as bad. lot better with trees off, but not over london makes no difference wth trees on or off,
all settings on medium except landshading , building textures and forests all set to low' no grass screen res 1070 x 768 sys spec P5N-D asus motherboard with onboard sound E8400 3 ghz processor windows vista 64 bit 8 gig corsair ram GTX 460 graphics card all dirivers up to date |

Since this is running in a windowed mode (which usually slows things down, cause it must keep the desktop in memory too, right?), I wonder if those of you who report speed ups have Windows Aero turned off?

Hi,
FPS improved vs previous version, +5 FPS in 1680x1050 (from 13 to 18 above land , from 20 to 25+ over water) A complete lookaround , loading landscape, improve frames and stutter. Very limited impact in FPS when changing quality settings Two remaining problems not answered by dev team in posts No noticeable impact of the antiepilepsy switch GPU clock still stuck at 500MHz (should be 870!); This HAS to be part of the problem. Well, overall an improvment, game is almost playable with normal settings ! One thing I have is a very fast SSD attached to PCI-E (OCZ Revo) slot which has the OS too. So could it be windows swap file peformance (if on a regular HDD) that gives you guys the stutters? |

Hello folks!
Thx 4 the patch, but it only makes my game crashing when starting a single mission, campaign or trying to start a free flight. Everytime the loading progress bar reaches approximatly 20% i got an Error that launcher.exe has to be finished (is not reacting) thats it. When i start a british campaign, i can read the english (british introduction text AND after a click on FLY i also can read ther german introduction text of the campaing. So anything is wrong here too. Ive got the EU - GERMAN Version of COD. Does it matter in any case? The Game is German , the Patch English? Perhaps the Game crashes because of that? Greetings Daniel |

![]() - Russian version with Russian Beta is working ![]() (yes, I have two - No, you do not get my extra activation codes) I post these pictures because I can directly compare pre- and after-beta patch. More pictures with higher settings to follow soon. Flying window 1280x1024 using settings (no trees) as below (screenshot from English version - same in Russian as they use the same conf.ini) Game is definitively smoother no stutters at all Same fps Less VRAM used 1128MB before (look at the GPU-Z far right) vs 988Mb now (140MB RAM savings) NOT BAD ![]() Interestingly enough, GPU usage is still 60% My CPU load is much less 19% vs 30% before ![]() THIS IS PHOTO UNPATCHED (ver. 13820) 3840x resolution, move sliders to the right to see the game ![]() THIS IS PHOTO PATCHED (ver. beta 13915) 3840x resolution, move sliders to the right to see the game ![]() I hope this helps. so will i have to use the RUS Patch for German Version to work? What do you advice me to do? As i mentioned above i ve got the German Version... The ENG Patch only screws up my game, so I cannot start any sort of fligt... Keeps Crashing..

gtx 460 1gig of vram with latest beta from nvidia
win 7 32 4 gigs ram I didn't much bother with fps checking as those seemed to stay low anyway. Difference is that playing in windowed mode seemed to be a bit smoother despite a number of Launcher crashes. playing in full screen shows no real differences and the mission of intercepting dive bombers near Hawkinge is pretty much unplayable.
