I´ve fell in love with the thick smoke effect of the seccond and third shot, it looks perfect.
Also the spitfire with the engine visible because of the lost pannel, its great.

The lightning effects are gorgeus, but we already knew that because of previous updates.

I believe you mean 4.11. 4.10 won't include the nachtjagers as far as I know.

Cheers,

I can only answer question 2. A few months ago a member of the community went to Moscow and interviewed the SoW:BoB team on behalf of the French simulation website "check six". Among the things they showed him was a full-real engine start-up in a Stuka, so i guess it's going to be included. It's probably going to be a selectable realism setting.

There's also more than that. As the Stuka was climbing into colder air the canopy started fogging and icing up, so they clicked on the "warm air" button to defrost it. I really can't begin to imagine the depth of detail we'll be getting in this sim, i have a small feeling that it will be worth every single second of the wait all these years

Oleg- i'm stunned by the way your project is coming together. The first example of the second lot of screenshots is simply brilliant- the way the elements are coming together of buildings, terrain, vegetation, ground objects, lighting is looking VERY good. I cant wait to see an animation of that scene with the shadow of the spitfire passing over the buildings.
With more elements yet to be turned on in the render (such as the grass you mentioned) i can appreciate now that the comment you made some time ago that this engine will be capable of cinema-grade pictures and videos was no idle boast.
Your updates are increasing my hopes each week- keep up the good work!

Hi Oleg, Greetings from Finland.

Been waiting for this sim for years now. Just one question if you have the time, when will there be a BOB SoW internet pages for this game? For a sim about to be released in 2010 (hopefully) there's not much info about it. Surely if you think of the scale and potential of the SoW series you should already have a homepage worthy of the upcoming game?

Even SH5 had those even though the game was rubbish...

Otherwise great screens and models. Hopefully the game will be too

#3, A properly graded and rolled grass runway isn't all that rough to take off from or land on. Oftentimes, the grass is much nicer to use than the concrete.
