nice, i live in the UK, so i guess i'll have to stick with GAME, i get 2 free in-game planes though

The downloadable planes are the 'P47D' and 'TA152H1'. These planes will be available to be flown in all multiplayer modes. One code gains access to both planes.

I generally don't pre-order anything, unless it is a game coming with limited edition hardware, such as Steel Battalion or Ace Combat 6.

I've never once not been able to find a game the day it comes out.

Same, because I would be buying the game at the same price on launch day anyway, so getting two free aircraft for putting down a pre-order seems good value.

Gah, this seems to be a new "thing" for Game – downloadable extras if you pre-order a game from them. (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Forza 3, and now BoP.) In all cases though they say that this offer is valid in the UK only, and since I live in Germany I'd therefore be taking a chance that I don't get the content if I order from them.

Bah, I already have Birds of Prey pre-ordered at Amazon (along with DiRT 2, which releases the dame day). Now I wonder whether I should switch my order to Game on the off chance that I get the bonus content.
