Stuck, Do I need to restart?

I can not get into the elven mines despite trying everything I can think of. I befriended the elves, destroyed the evil book and talked to Kael-Shot afterwards. The king's castle is empty. Iron Richard's castle is empty. I have talked to the mage in the tower and watched his tower for him. I have talked to Eric after the first fight with the evil prince. Nobody has a new lead or quest for me.
Is my game bugged?

Befriending the elves has nothing to do with the elven island. After talking to Rezo in the mage tower and guarding him, return to Iron Richard's castle and it won't be empty anymore.

Thanks for the reply. I defended Rezo's tower while he was gone and went back to karradun and it says Iron Richard and his men have all ready left this place.
Also, the mage tower still has a round green quest marker on top of it, yet Rezo has no quests to offer. He only offers to sell me things.
I honestly think my game is bugged.

Why do you open a new thread just a couple of hours after your last? You ask the exact same question. ^^ For me it was like Sirron (like I said in your other thread) answered. You talked to the npc directly in front of the mine? ^^

Sorry about the new thread, but I've tried all the suggestions with no success. I talked to the NPC in front of the mine(many times) and he won't let me in. I've guarded Rezo's tower and won the fight. I went back to Iron Richard's castle and it's still empty- It says Iron Richard and his men have already left this place. Could this be a bug?

Couple of questions:

1) Have you defeated the 4 undead armies that prevent the Elven ships from embarking?
2) If so, have you dealt with Ele Taera in the cave on the island?

The first task is necessary to get Las Ksarind to appear in the castle. The second is necessary to enter the mine.

0) Have you talked to Eric?
That is necessary to advance the main quest in order to get to the two steps mentioned above.
