Condemed heroes mission 2 advance into village

Hi on the second mission when the advance into village objective appears the map does not expand so that I can see the village so I am stuck.

That map doesn't expand, there's an "exit point": Walk all you guys to left side of map, near the frozen lake / river. Screen should go dark and then your guys appear on the "next map".
