As I remember this stick - the FCS (Flying Control Sytem) - is the first produced by Thrustmaster (America) initially in the garage of the founder, and is the first stick made for
aircraft simulation based in real one - B8 grip (F-4 Phantom and others). Probable hit the markt in early 90's...

Its gimbal and box base is made in metal (alluminiun).

Does anyone know of a joystick that does not have center detent similar to cougar u2nxt? Heck, is the u2nxt mod still being made?

AFAIK IanJ still makes those U2NXT mods and Cub Pilot the hall sensor mods. I had a TM F22 stick at some point, even modded it with the circuitry so it became "digital"..oh the times!
