Default Ju88,bf110 automatic steering

Please explain the setup of the Kurssteurung Automatic Steering device for these AC. I have found some info and have set up one leg of auto steering, on the ground for first waypoint..using my usual "Blundering" approach..which means I may get something to work but have no idea how I did it!.This information is not in the manual and a "sticky" info collection would help. Many Thanks, John

set your Gyrocompass according your magnetic compass ( +10 degrees).
set your desired course for the automatic (the numbers below the gyrokompas on the same instrument)
fly manually to the desired heading and trim your aircraft.
enable the automatic........wait till is settled.
when on automatic make only small course correctins!

it does NOT work in the Ju 88 in the moment, because its Gyro is not working.....only Bf110 and He111

for much more details and a much better english read here:
