Default working antialiasing via downsampling!

here is a workaround, in german only, sorry.

http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community...ts-710317.html

here another workaround:

http://www.forum-3dcenter.org/vbulle...d.php?t=454129

I combine 150% downsampling to my native 1680x1050 with FXAA http://a2fxaa.blogspot.com/

here is a video http://www.oc-burner.de/ftp/Videos/D...1920x1080.html

try translator or search keywords like downsampling etc

Don't get your hopes too high though. I tried that a few weeks ago and learned that CloD reacts very sensitively to high resolutions. Which means performance is going down a lot. With my GTX570 (which is pretty good) I can't do it with reasonable performance. Maybe after they optimize the performance of CloD as promised it might be worth another look.

sorry, now the links are working in first post. And yes, it eats a lot of performance. You can try different downsampling resolutions to get better performance and combine it with FXAA.

As a "noob", which one will go with a 1920x1080x60Hz monitor? Thanks,

Try a factor of 1.5 for the resolution (which means 2880x1620). Anything below will not make a big difference and anything higher will be very slow. Actually this will already be too slow unless you have a REALLY fast graphics card.

This looks interesting but I see the OP has a water cooled over clocked gtx570.
My gtx460's would not be up to it.

I have tried to get the second card to do the AA but it doesn't work. Best I can do is turn off MSAA and only use FXAA. At 1600x900 with FX is perfectly fine for me.
