Default Will there be more planes ?

Hey!
I wounder if more planes will come in to the game soon ?
Alot of planes that are in the il 2 sturmovik 1946 are NOT in this game.. I miss all the good old bombers and fighters.. And WHY cant they make all plane flyable ? That is one big WHY..

Because one cockpit takes about 6 months for an experienced modeller. And that is just the 3D part. The complexity of models and their systems has been considerably increased. Besides this is currently about the Battle of Britain so there are only a few types that would fit the bill here.

Okey. But how can mods let u inn a cockpit and use the plane ?
Do u know if it will come more planes to the game ?

don't forget about the E4 that will release it hopefuly to the next patch
Right now we've got the Bf-109E1[Released with this patch],E2,E2b,and we waiting for the E4

All the aircraft in the original IL-2 didn't arrive with the first theater, they were added over the 8 years of development. It will be the same for the new IL-2 series. If the new series is successfull it will be developed for atleast another ten years and probably have just as many or more aircraft than the original, especially with the tools provided for modders.

Sorry I call bull, that is absolutely not true unless the programming and graphics integration is a mess. Vehicles and mechanical models (like a cockpit) are very easy to make, what is very difficult (and absent) are organic/realistic character models (and then faces). Try maybe 1month max to model a cockpit if you have your research together, another week or two to texture and then you got to get the interface working which I dont know about so I am not sure how long it takes (thats the integration).
