Default Control surface jitter.

Hi, I don't know which forum this applies to, but it may be a direct result of saving game performance so that's why I post it here.

Ingame now, we have a visual representation of control movement that is rather choppy. If you look at the stick it doesn't move smooth as in IL-2 1946, it just skips quickly around... Same with the exterior view: The controls seem to "lag" around.

Don't misunderstand me, the controls are responsive, there's no lag to the physical plane model, but the visual model is choppy and makes it hurt the eye kindof.

So is it possible to get smooth control visuals for your own plane, and keep the choppy ones for AI/online players to keep performance good, or does it cost too much performance to have smooth movement?

Default Yeah - I noticed this too

Definitely noticed that instead of the elevators and ailerons moving like they should if there was a cable pulling them, they instead move in jerky fashion, like they have stops at different positions

Yeah I've noticed that, but I also have physical lag. It seems that the controls are rendered at a rate that is a fraction of the actual FPS. I'm wondering if that's also the rate the controller is polled, it would explain the lag I'm getting at medium-low FPS.

What the axis control, "sensitivity" value?
0 - fast (linear)
1 - slow (non linear)

i use 0.3, seems fast, and smooth enough.

Nah that's not what I mean.

Sit inside your cockpit, and go max left, then max right aileron. You can see the stick "jumping" as if it were "lagging". The same goes for the control surfaces. They also move very fast in a strobe-like manner. I would like to see smoother movement. At least for our own plane.
