Tired of Ubuntu's six month upgrade cycle?

I have been using Ubuntu for years and I love its stability and ease of use, but I am getting tired of the major version upgrades every six months. I always end up with something broken or spend hours fixing dependencies after a release upgrade. I have looked at Arch and other rolling release distros, but I do not want to give up the convenience of Ubuntu's ecosystem. Is there a way to get a rolling release experience while staying on Ubuntu?

I know exactly what you mean because I felt the same way until I found a project that does exactly that. It is an unofficial Ubuntu flavour that tracks the devel series, so you get continuous package updates without ever needing to do a major upgrade. What I really like is the tools they built around it, like rhino-update which handles updates smoothly with Nala for parallel downloads, and rhino-deinst which lets you install desktop environments easily. They also have a minimal installation option if you want to build your system from the ground up, and they integrate Pacstall which is like the Arch User Repository for Ubuntu. That sounds exactly like what I have been looking for. A rolling release Ubuntu with good tooling and a minimal option is rare. I will definitely check out Rolling Rhino Remix and maybe try it on a test machine first. Thanks for the recommendation.
