Are ricochet's included in this game? I have tried without success t discover this myself, but generally end up getting bored. I have observed some ricochet style effects when shooting the 109's cannon at water, but not with the MG rounds. Can anybody confirm or deny this?

they are modeled.
They even bounce off planes sometimes. Try shooting at night when very close to the ground you'll see them before they burn out |

Bomb ricochets are also modelled. I noticed when doing some low level highspeed levelbombing in stuka. Bombs have quite nice physics (even thought I think the bounce effect is a bit overdone over hard land) when bouncing, they roll and slide etc. quite much.

Of course ricochets are modelled! how do you think the allies can get tank kills with MGs otherwise?

sure, ricochets are modelled. They already were back in Il-2 1946... try shooting at an Il2's armored pilot compartment from certain angles and you will get some neat effects

I thought they werent, nice to know they are there.Though I havent seen any footage of it happening.Water splashes in the other hand are awesome, try flying at low lever and shooting at the water just pitching the nose down a bit and applying rudder from side to side
