Default The Music Box

I'm looking for good tracks for flying and fighting too, and looking for suggestions. I'm thinking that anything that could be mistaken for radio chatter avoided for this, and if the music system works like it did in Il-2, the tracks will have to be able to fit both combat and patrol.

Current ideas I have so far are:
One of the string covers of Kashmir

Spectrum of the Sky has an interesting combination of hard and soft sections:

Possibly one of the various Requiem for a Tower editions out there

Anner Bylsma's version of Concerto for Violoncello in A minor, RV 419

This might work as a post crash music:

Any other tracks people think would work well?

This has been used in an IL2 video and IMHO it works really well, depsite being ever so slightly not of the era ...

I once read the book All Quiet on the Western Front entirely while listening to this song on a continuous loop... perfect soundtrack

Cool. I've heard that one on Pandora, but I didn't think of it.

I wonder if an instrumental version of White Room would work?

I do like the comments on this Clapton one, though:

4:06 Clapton GOD MODE on!
And while we're looking at Eric Clapton songs:

And to throw an addendum in, some of the stuff by Apocalyptica might work too:

"Europa" performed by Globus, of course! Here a nice IL-2 video with the song (I didn't make it, unfortunately ):

Will perfectly fit to CoD as well.
