I basically have 5 devices that are recorded as gaming/joystick devices: 2 Thrustmaster MFD's and the Logitech G940 flight system (which acts as three devices).
IL2 will not recognize more than 4. I can play it if I unplug one of my MFD's, but that's really annoying. Any way around this? Last edited by droz; 01-17-2011 at 12:11 AM. |

1. Il-2 does not care about those IDs set with JoyIDs (these are for games using Win32 JOYCOBNTROLEX API, but Il-2 uses something different)
2. Il-2 only uses the first 4 devices. I do not see any other solution than unplugging one of your MFD's Artist

Try using TARGET (programming software) from Thrustmaster. It will combine your MFDs into 1 virtual device, and you will be fine.

Strange thing is that it did work the first times for me without detaching anything. Now suddenly the rudders to not work in IL2.

Does it combine Thrustmaster products only? Or other USB devices, too?
