Default Running a simple dogfight mission.

So, I am going to have another go at the editor, I made a simple dogfight mission on a smaller map for my friends and I to learn and crash on, it seemed like it would be easy enough.

However, when I go to test the dogfight mission (by making a private server), I find that I cannot actually get into a aircraft, I can only create AI controlled ones, I tried this with the dogfight missions that are already packaged with the sim and got the same result.

Is there something I am missing here, can I not fly when I host a server?

You need add "Spawn area" object to bases, and set, in object properties what planes respawn in that base.
Players select side > select some base > select a plane and hit CREATE.
Perhaps in "realism" settings of your server this option are not allowed.

It was the realism settings the whole time!

I did not even know that would be a issue, such a simple solution and yet I spent about two hours trying to find out what I was doing wrong.

Thanks for the help!
