loading the game

Hello!
I just bought Cliffs of Dover and installed it. I launched it and it's taking ages to start, since it's indicated one download is taking place. It's about 41% now but it started one and a half hour ago.
Is this normal? Will this happen each time I want to play it?

Don't panic..it will be Steam downloading and updating your installation to the latest version.

Just another question, where can I find the IL-2 Cliffs of Dover.exe? I need to set it on my Nvidia control panel. I've been searching but no luck....

I do not think there is an actual Clod exe.The game starts from launcher.exe.

It should be in your main Clod directory under Steam>Steamapps>common> Clod.
