Default Strange area in Demonis - how to get there?

Hey guys, I saw this unexplored area in Demonis when I climbed the volcano (where you toss the hourglass), with some shops and stuff but never was able to get there. First I thought it opens later on but now I've finished the game and realized I never accessed that region.

It's sort of "behind" the portal to the golden dragon casino, on the other side of the mountain range. Was I just stupid or is it a bug?

Yeah, I noticed that, too. There's this large rock kind of thing in the way and it seems there should be some way of exploding it. Since you don't get to keep the horse when you go there, it's not like you can fly over it.

Also, on the map for Hades, there's a portal that says New Kordar or something like that. It's next to the Scarlet Tower. Found one of the lift things there but never found the portal. I'm not finished with the game, though, so maybe you use it later?

You will find later a way to open the New Kordar portal.

Yep, you open that portal FROM New Kordar and it stays open. I was also stumped by the portal icon though when I first got to Demonis.

But that area behind the mountain range remains mystery and also if you open a Demonis map there's another large unexplored, cloudy area in the northwestern part of the map. Strange.
