IL2 revisited

Just returned from an evening of mission based shenanigens on UK Dedicated 1, resplendent in it's full wonder woman glory.

I'd forgotten just how much fun IL2 Sturmovik is.

Flew a few missions in a Boston, bombing an airfield, followed by a few in a Pe-3 wiping out convoys of nazis, escorted my me kid bruv in an I-16.

My word, I can't wait for CoD to get that good.

I'd recommend to anyone that's waiting frustratedly for the next patch to get back to having a go at IL2 online.

The cockpits don't look too good these days, or the scenery, but get on a cockpit free dogfight server and you'll have a ball.

Original and still best.
