Default How to record tracks?

I must be a bit "thick", but I can't work out how one records tracks! With IL-2 it was easy - a key was allocated to "start recording" and "stop recording" - what am I missing?
Sorry to ask such an elementary question!

Sorry ... I must really be "thick" - I can see a track select option in the main menu, but I still can't fathom out how to record a track - has one got the option as to when to start recording and when to stop recording?

I really feel embarrassed that I can't work this one out!!

Start your mission , when you are in game hit (esc) and select ( Start Recording)

that should do it for you.
