New Firmware stays all game long ?

I have a question about the firmwares we can buy on maintenance stations, do they stay from one mothership to another ? or do we have to buy the one we like every time we change of mothership ?

i saw the swap although i saw alsow something that i had mk 3 and it swapped back to mk 2 when i rescued ternie (so when i got the new mothership)

so not 100% shure

In fact Korpah was true about what he had seen mk3 into a mk2

As i just bought the Mk3 System (wonderful by the way !), when i click on the little green icon it says "Mk2 System'

But no problems it also says all the Percentage Benefits of the Mk3 i bought

So it's just a very minor "description bug"

I can upgrade firmware multiple times without seeing a difference ???
