Olaf not gaining experiance

I didnt find similar topic soo..

So i found the valkirie on the second island and that amulet finaly started upgrading the rage using skills .

But right after that every pack of creatures i kill , none of them gives olaf experiance and i am stuck at lvl6 and a half

any one had a similar problem ? or know something i dont ?
Please help

Did you instal "camelotcrusade fix 02-01.zip" from this thread?

I had the same issue as you after I put "addon_arena.lua" from that download in the addon folder. removing that file brought things back to normal.

I have the same problem, seems to be triggered by entering a cave. For example, if I go into the 'training' mission with the blacksmith, then Olaf never gets to gain a single experience point out of combat... but if I skip it I am fine until I go into the snake tamer cave, then again no xp from combat (currently stuck at level 2 125/160).

I had not installed the LUA file mentioned before, either.

(For the record, I am playing Soothsayer. Not verified if other classes have the same problem for me but I assume they would)

Not originally. I installed it after the problem appeared, to no effect. Then took it off as suggested by nonamesleft. And still no xp

Does not seem to have anything to do with entering a cave, started a new character (Skald), skipped the training cave and gained xp fine for one combat... and that was it. No more xp from combats for him!

The only things I have done before the next combat are:

- Speak with the soothsayer NPC
- Buy Soothsayer unit (1)
- Speak with Dorri about the missing necklace

and pick a few items laying around... it is utterly bizarre.

Solved! (well, only got xp out of one combat, but I am hopeful

)

Thought I had a clean install, but apparently Steam does not delete the \session\ folder when you tell it to delete local content and I still had:

mod_wn131_interface_v3.kfs
mod_wn131_camera.kfs

there. Removed them and xp is back! Shame as they were both brilliant, but the game was unplayable before so cest la vie.
