Default MkIa spitfire CSP gone

I just noticed the Spitfire mkIa now has a prop that behaves exactly like the mkI DH two speed prop. Although it still has the 3d model of the Rotol CSP.
Before the patch the mkI had a two speed DH and the MKIa had a constant speed Rotol prop.

At the moment there is no difference between the mkI and mkIa spitfires.

The Spit1a never had a CSP ingame. Well, at least not in my game version. I hope they fix this alongside with other FM issues.

Really it never had CSP?!
wow I really thought I remember setting 2600rpm for climb in the mkIa.
maybe I'm wrong about that.

If that is true then what is the difference between the mkI and mkIa spits?

In history the Spit1a had an engine capable to take 100 octane fuel (the Spit1 could run only at 87 octane) and it had the CSP.

Ingame actually I don't know exactly the difference. It is minor and negligible in terms of performance afaik. I hope they fix it together with the issues on the Hurri and the 109.
