Default IL-2 CloD Tank battle

a Short presentation of some armour elements in combat.

I think the improvement on land objects detail and graphics are super: congratulations to Maddox Games team!

Finally! We can see some nice features here: Use of co-axial guns, tanks following terrain textures. On the other hand, the tanks seem a bit close together (not spreading out except at the airfield) and the ground should probably be a bit bumpier (worsening their ability to fire on the move).

The tanks were reported to have a damage model comparable in detail to that of planes in the original Il-2. Is this true? Can they vehicles be disabled but not destroyed? That is what I'm wondering about...

And to think the decals on ground vehicles aren't working, yet.

Just a little hint - apart from Panzer IV platoons (which consisted of 4 tanks) all german tank platoons of 1940 consisted of five tanks. And armored recon platoons consisted of six vehicles (two of light SdKfz 222 and one of heavy SdKfz 232).

Wow! Impressive stuff, though sadly hardly visible to pilots. I think the tank crews could do with a little tactical training though...

They're already 110% better than in Il-2 1946. They can be given the order to "attack area" and spread nicely into a wedge formation.
