Default Shurtzen and Armor Skirts....

Do the armor skirts and armor over the sides of the tracks actually block or help your tank in any way or are they just for looks and watching them fall off when a 20mm shoots em?

Sometimes. I forget which tanks but when you enable the shield the skirts will protect the tracks a little. Most of them are just for looks.

I forget which heavy tank I was using but I hit a "stug4" with a side shot. It knocked off one of the side skirts and gave it time to traverse towards me and get off a shot. It didn't keep me from blowing it up but it did give it some extra seconds.
