QUESTION:
use < IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 > a flight simulator program as a criteria,
ASSUMING that < Men at War > requirements are much less stringent (??)

1 What CPU is required for game playing ?
2. How large should the RAM Memory be ?
3. What video card would be required, especially its built-in memory cache?
4. What external controls would be recommended to 'fly' an airplane ?
5. I use Windows XP, is that suitable ?

If these questions sound stupid PLEASE answer anyway !

Thanks

I would reccomend following configuration:

CPU: Intel core 2 Duo (E7300 - E8600) or AMD "Phenom II X2 Black edition
RAM: 3-4 GB minimum
Video Card: any modern ATI or NVIDIA card starting from middle-price moodels.
External controls: there are many good flightsticks, better ask this question in IL-2 section of our forum.
Win XP is suitable
