I'm not saying that there can't be great games with just 8 players... The problem as I see it arises when it comes to public games which anyone can join.
When you only have 4 players per team, one noob/smacktard/idiot is enough to ruin the game or seriously cripple all attempts at teamplay. Those players don't have as much effect when you have larger teams. Let's just hope for the best...
I've heard about those bombing missions as well. In any case, I hope they give bombers an actual use in online games, so it does not turn out like HAWX where every bomber is totally useless in multiplayer.
