I don't know of a way to do this once the game has begun, but you can tweak the hero.txt file to add spells to your character before starting a new game.
1. Export the hero.txt file from the ses.kfs file, usually found in folder "sessions".
2. Open hero.txt and add the following line under the class you intend to play (each class - warrior, paladin, mage - is listed separately.
spell_blizzard = 1 (use -1 if you want to start with a scroll)
3. Save hero.txt
4. Copy hero.txt to mod folder.
5. Start new game.
Note: You can use the same method to add items, such as containers (eggs) and equipment.
