Apparently, yes.
See what happen with control column when Autopilot mode 22 is selected (He-111) with AFN-1/2 tuned to SBA Hat Antenna.
The movement is progressive, not show in this .GIF.
EDIT - This control column movement dont have relation with Lorenz, is for level bombing, to acelerate the plane (He.111, JU-8
