I find that thought process extremely weird. When SOW:BOB is released, interest in the IL-2 series will decline sharply. Why not release the final 4.09 patch while folks are still interested in -and playing- the IL-2 series?
Oh well... doesn't matter much anyway. The vacuum created by demand with no supply is filled by the 12,000+ folks working the un-sanctioned side of things. |
I sometimes wonder why the Slovakia and Bessarabia mapmakers don't just send their final versions to AAA and let them implement them. Everybody could use them with confidence then. The MTO map that came with 4.09b has already been superceded by the new desert maps available over there.
