You really should read couple of Reino Lehväslaiho's books and watch this movie again if you have watched it. Most of tank battles are from his books and the books give you better understanding of the movie as the movie jumps across several events trought soviet summer offensive of 1944.
Detachment Kuhlmey is also pictured in this movies as they were send to help finland.
