Thanks for the reply and the tips on the Spit. That makes sense about the 36 gallons. I guess that I've not been in the air long enough to get down to only 36 gallons left.

I don't know what the fuel consumption rate is on a spitfire, but I bet that if you do start to see the needle move, you'd better be landing soon....

I've noticed that, if a 109 disengages and leaves the combat arena, just let him go, because you ain't going to catch him in a spit.
