I cut off the engine when temperature reach 108ºC, i think, thats why i dont reach 285 IAS with WEP.
If you want i can send my automatic sheet to you, just put the IAS and boom, everything its calculated
So, i confirm when you said about strange behavior of mixture... when you put weak mixture, your engine temperature should increase, weak mixture + WEP = Engine destroyed.
