I took off from Tramencourt and began to head off for the targets and outside a radius of the base all trees were gone and could not be seen except inside the "LOD Sphere". Yeah I have noticed that too offline. I've done a few quick missions from Manston and have seen the same thing you describe. I haven't had e chance to go online for a while so I can't confirm it online.
