I am a fan of the Alien serie.

I went to see that one without knowing it was a prequel, just hearing that Ridley Scott did a new movie.

Obviously during the film (I hve to say very latte) I understood tht there was more than a resemblances btw Alien and those aliens.

However, I found the effects were cheap. The animated scene were poorly lighted.

Some of the characters were harshly presented and then full of conventions : the mechanics, the scientist, the heroïc captain etc..

The Medpod scene was for me the moment when the film slipped from "Ok we don't hve a lot of money but let's try to tell a good story" to "the producer want more blood, more action and want to cut in half the film, so let's do it altogether".
The girl has nothing like the talent of Sigourney.
The trick with the beheaded robot still talking has been already done by RS. Why does he hve to redo it in a so badly manner?
The rolling spaceship with both the stupid girls running straight forward is either a comic scene or a quick snapshot at RS misogyny (by the way the blonde & cold girl is absolutely saving much of the actor play). I was thinking such scene were seen only in kid's animated movies !

And the evolution scene with the little alien done in one day by a bubble gum like creature completly different in shape that was pulled itself out of a one of the character vagina would certainly woke up the poor Freud if the movie was displayed next to his tomb with the parallel of Girls anatomies with a drawers !

And the Alien is white with not an once of tan (yeah yeah, that you can see also trough too clearly - no need of Freud) !

But still I recommend all to see the film, just in expectation of the future.

PS: I think with all my respect that the old cohorte of movie makers shld step backward. I did admire their movies but now they are getting too old, too rich and too isolated; A bad mix for any artist.
