but no one (as of the late 1990s) has taken it into account, at least not with any publicity. When taken into account (especially along with Einstein’s estimate for the effective Newtonian mass and associated deflection of photons), what is left over deviates unacceptably from the value needed to fully support Einstein’s gravitational lensing.
