http://esl.fis.edu/learners/support/...t/spectrum.htm. the political spectrum is a circle, the extremes resemble each other in many many ways. away from the extremes the difference is more obvious. the right go for lower public spending and lower taxation, usually towards the top end of the earning scale. the left spend more and tax more. the right also tend more towards xenophobic isolationism and tend to have a more anti-immigration leaning than the left.
