Al Gore never claimed to have 'invented the internet'. Not that it would matter the slightest if he did. This isn't about Al Gore, any more than it is about Burt Rutan. Still, anything to divert us from the facts - which are that the overwhelming consensus amongst the relevant scientific community (the only people qualified to make meaningful statements on the subject) is than anthropogenic climate change is real, and is likely to have significant negative consequences. This is
the only fact that matters.
