I doubt it. As far I can see CoD only uses real cores and no the HT ones (which is good).
What isn't good is the fact these real cores (I have a I7 2600) are only 30% used and never more than that. I really doubt cpu overclocking helps CoD at this time since I've flown a few missions with my cpu only running at 2.4 Ghz and still I got avg fps ~ 40 or 45.
It's still not the cpu that's the bottleneck right for this game. It's the crippled game engine and large problems with loading and processing textures.
I ran the single mission cross country (1 plane and just a couple of objects) and the only time I got a really smooth ride was when everything was set at very low. When the Blenheim takes off at the end of the runway, some houses and few small valleys show up.
Each and every time when the Blenheim flies over this part of the landscape - and using f2 to view - long stutters start. Frames look to be skipped completely because of delays on texture loading. And what's really strange is the fact the avg fps still shows 50 fps when this happens.
