I haven't flown IL-2 for a while, but the release of 4.11, with 6dof support and a bunch of other changes made me pick it up again.
I remember the F4U used to overheat at low revs and 100% throttle (ie, real cruise settings above a certain altitude). I haven't had a close look yet, but I think you've solved this as well.
Being able to use the temp gauges properly (ie, with real limits) is important to me as well.
So thanks for your efforts TD, and I hope you continue!
