But seriously, any kind of head tracking is very much recommended for CloD(or any other flight sim). Personally I use a little curving around the center with the rotation axis so it's easier to aim. I have the rotation speed otherwise at quite fast so I don't have to turn my head away from the screen.

My profile has a small deadzone in the center and then accelerates as i look round, i maybe have to turn my head about 30 degrees to look behind me.
Cant and will not fly without it.
Not only for the ease and edge it gives but also for the immersion it adds.
