Me too. They still might, who knows? So many squads aren't making the change over because of the shoddy state of the game. If/when more squads come and if some better features make it into the multiplayer GUI then there might be one.

Instead we are pining for HL (which is great!!!) but it seems like we really just need better mp lobbies in-game that accomodate coop style gameplay and pre-mission chat (and maybe better integration with between the servers and steam itself).

Never played l4d2 but it sounds like a decent system. Maybe even just a button in the multiplayer gui that launches the steam community overlay with the server's steam group.
