Snapper's post pretty much sums it up for finding contacts. Definitely jump on TS3 - even one other person on comms can change your whole evening. Just yesterday there was a 110 and a 109 buzzing Hawkinge. Four of us on teamspeak converged at the same time from different directions. I think it was Snapper who said, "Those poor guys, they're already dead but they just don't know it yet!" He sure was right - great fun! A 110 that has lost its energy is such a nice target.

And I don't know how many times I have seen a 109 closing on a red's six who isn't on teamspeak. Usual procedure is to call 'checksix' or 'break' but when they aren't listening they just go down in flames.

Edit: Definitely with you there, ElAurens. Very much looking forward to the expansion even though I'm still enjoying the channel.
Yep, that was me! You guys were a bit ahead of me and I knew that 110 was in for a world of hurt. Then a 109 squirted out of Hawkinge and went feet wet at wavetop height in a desperate run for home with a Spit in hot pursuit. A couple of us in Hurries decided to give chase -- why not?

I was low on fuel, but "for King and Country -- Tally Ho!". We slowly overtook the Spit and passed him, but we couldn't gain on the yellownose. He dragged us clear across the Channel to France and I was fully expecting his pals to greet us as Cap Gris Nez approached. I was surprised when he suddenly went vertical over his coast and opted to engage us; I figured he'd simply lure us over one of his airfields and let the AAA do its work. Just then my engine spluttered and died. Bingo fuel! Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh! I left him to you guys and plonked unceremoniously down in a French seaside field. In self-loathing I signed off and went upstairs for a ham sandwich. Oh, the shame!!!!! LOL

Did anyone get that 109?
